Meet the Team

Co-Founders Catherine & Daniel graduated through the U.S. college system and are now helping young Aussie athletes to pursue their American dream.

  • Co-founder and head of Player Consultancy, Catherine Thomson is originally from a small town near Aberdeen, Scotland. Catherine played for Aberdeen Ladies Development before making the big move to America. Catherine accepted a soccer and academic scholarship to Delta State University in 2013. During her 4 years at university she played for the women’s soccer team in the NCAA Division 2 Gulf South Conference. Catherine was selected for the Academic All District Team in 2016, first player in the university’s history, for excelling on the field and in the classroom. She was the top goal scorer on the team in her senior year. After 4 years Catherine graduated with a Bachelor of Science with honours. Catherine also played for FC Indiana in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) for the 2016 summer season. After graduating in 2017, Catherine moved to Sydney, Australia where she played for the North Shore Mariners, NPL 1, in the 2018 season.

  • Co-founder and head of Player Management, Daniel Deblaere, attended high school at St Pius X College in Chatswood, New South Wales. He played junior football for Penrith Nepean United, Northern Tigers and Gladesville Ryde Magic. In 2010 Daniel received a soccer scholarship to Waldorf College (NAIA) in Iowa. After one year he transferred to Delta State University to play in the NCAA Division 2. During his time at Delta State University he helped DSU to a Gulf South Conference Tournament Runners-up in 2012. He was selected for the Gulf South Conference team and Daktronics All South Region Team. He ranked 23rd in NCAA for assists and 49th for assist per game in the 2012 season. Daniel was also team captain for the 2014 and 2015 season. Daniel played in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) for FC Indiana in 2015 and was selected to the NPSL all Midwest team. He also played for Shreveport Rafters (NPSL) in 2016 and was selected to the South Central Conference team. Daniel graduated from Delta State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a Minor in General Business Administration. After graduating, Daniel spend an additional year in the US coaching, he was head coach of Mississippi Flood FC U18 boys select and U12 girls select.
